Homeward Bound!

I am sooo proud of our little boys! We are going to be coming home this weekend!!!!  The boys just need to pass their carseat challenge.  They will get circumsized on Thursday morning which makes Daddy nervous :) They eye docotor looked at the boys and said everything looked great with their vision so that is a blessing, because preemies born around their gestation can have eye problems. The boys will also be getting their newborn hospital pictures done. Words can not express how excited, nervous, and ready we are for this. We have been waiting on this to happen for quite sometime now. I spent nine weeks in the hospital and they are six weeks as of today......so we have been at St. Mary's for a total of fifteen weeks. We are ready to get into a routine at home, but will miss the nurses and doctors. We were so blessed to have such wonderful care.......we couldn't have been at any better place. A huge thank you to everyone at St. Mary's that helped us out in any way and to anyone that was a party of the Diesel Twins journey.

I am sure there are many people that will want to come and see the boys. We ask that nobody comes over that is sick or even feels sick. Keaton and Kendall are preemie babies so they can get sick a little easier than a regular newborn baby. I have hand sanitizers and soaps for hands. Please don't have any smoke on your clothing because it isn't good for them to breathe in and RSV is another serious thing we don't want our boys to get. We apologize for our rules, but the last thing we want is to be right back in the hospital.......we have been there long enough :)

I will never be able to repay Holly and Ryan for letting me live with them for the past five weeks. I couldn't ask for any better friends. I am very blessed to have them. They have done so much just by letting me stay with them. Here is a recent picture of Holly, Payton, and I. It is amazing how life works, because we never dreamed we would basically be living together. Holly has been wonderful.....she has been there for me when a day has been stressful, given me a hug when needed, listened to me talk, visited me when I was in the hospital and has visited with the boys as well, and has provided me a place to stay. She is the true meaning of a friend. Holly, I love you and I am so thankful we have stayed friends since Pre- K.

Here are some pictures of the boys room all decorated. These pictures were taken before the boxes were moved out of the room and the beds cleared out. My aunt has the quilts she is bringing with her this weekend when she comes to visit and the curtains. Monty and Andrew are going to change the light fixture that is bought just still sitting in the box and we have some more blinds to hang. I don't have the changing pad done yet and the stuff on the dresser sat up because she won't be here until the weekend. The quilts are Eric Carle and the changing pad cover. She made red curtain toppers for the windows. It will all be complete asap. It is def. ready for the boys though. The crown molding is yet to be done, but I don't think the boys will mind that it isn't up just yet.

In Memory of Pappy.......we miss and love you so much!
So thankful he got to meet Keaton and Kenall.
