Big Day For the Diesel's
Today has been a wonderful day! I had some great visitors and I got to go on a wheelchair ride! Yes, I now get excited about going on a wheelchair ride. Andrew and I got to take a tour of the NICU. This gave us an inside look at the babies, equipment, doctors, and nurses where Kendall and Keaton will be staying once born. They were very nice and gave us loads of information. After going in there we def had an eye opening experience at the fights some babies put up. I know Keaton and Kendall are strong babies and once born will be in the best care they can possibly be in.
We also celebrated making it to the 24 week mark. This marks a huge milestone on the survival rate for Keaton and Kendall. I have another ultrasound on thursday and we will get to see how much they have grown. I feel my stomach is getting bigger and bigger by the day, but this is good because we need these boys to grow. The shots I received on Friday and Saturday should be working on their lungs by now. We were fortunate to receive these shots to help make them stronger before arriving too early. Their little heart beats are pumping just right and they have been kicking mommy all day :)
I had some wonderful visitors today. Thanks again for all the calls, texts, gifts, visits, and prayers. I will post some pictures of some visitors that we have had and the gifts we have received. Keep praying for these boys to stay in longer, because the longer they stay with me the healthier they will be.
I would like to apologize for all the grammatical errors I have on this blog. It would be easier to type on a regular computer and download pictures, but I am very thankful that Britni let us borrow this iPad! I will post more this week.
