Good Appointment

Thursday we had an appointment to see the babies and to check my cervical length. The boys are doing wonderful....they had great heart rates and are getting so big. We didn't get weights, but hopefully we will get them next time or at least mommy and daddy want to know :) The medicine that I have been taking for my cervical length is working and doing a wonderful job. It had thickened up even more than the last time.....it is now a little more than three centimeters. This is excellent news!

The past couple of nights have been a little rough. I will feel fine during the day and at night I will start contracting. I have had to have a shot of Terbutaline. This shot makes me feel crazy and shake, but it works and slows the contractions down. The nurse and doctor both said that women that have preterm labor tend to contract more at night. Crazy if you ask me! Hopefully tonight will be a better night and be contraction free.

Once again I would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers and all the sweet cards I have been receiving here at the hospital. My bulletin board is full and it makes me smile when I look at it. Sunday will be a huge day for us.....we will be a full 28 weeks! This was a goal my doctor wanted us to get at. We are going to just stay strong and keep going. I know we can do it....these are some strong boys and they have helped make me stronger and have given me a whole new outlook on life.....def for the better.

I would like to thank my husband again for all his hard work and driving back and forth. He is getting worn down and doing his best. We can't wait to be home and get all settled in as a family of five...yes I am counting our dog Kya.....I miss her so much!
