As most of you know I am a huge Eric Carle fan. He is a childrens author and illustrator. His work is amazing. Eric Carle things hold a special place in my heart. I use his books in my classroom and Andrew proposed to me using the Very Hungry Caterpillar book, and bought me Eric Carle books for Valentine's Day one year. I thought to myself, why not carry the theme on with the nursery :) His work is very bright and always puts me in a good mood. Keaton and Kendall's bedroom isn't all the way finished, but getting there. I will post some pictures of some of things in their room. It will all come together soon, hopefully with the help of family :) I used Eric Carle letter flash cards for the border. I took some Eric Carle animal books that I got at a rummage sale and tore the pictures out and framed them to hang on the walls. I ordered their names (Uppercase Living) in bright colors to put above the cribs. My aunt had a lamp and I painted it orange and she also bought us Eric Carle crib sheets from Pottery Barn Kids. They are so cute! The yellow on the walls is very bright, but will hopefully tone down some once we get blinds, curtain toppers, and more on the walls. If not, I guess we will lighten the yellow up. I will post more pictures once it is all the way finished. My aunt is making the curtain toppers, changing table cover, and quilts for their beds. I will post the picture of the material she is using. It is all based around Eric Carle animals. Please ignore all the mess in the pictures. Like I said, it isn't finished but will look cute when it is!
