Today we received some wonderful news on Keaton and Kendall. We knew that my belly was getting larger and now we know why. Keaton is weighing in at 3 pounds 10 ounces and Kendall is weighing in at 3 pounds 6 ounces. They are doing great! Daddy and I were very pleased about this. My ultrasound tech said they were very good sized for twins at 29 weeks and 4 days. She said they rarely see babies that size and healthy like Keaton and Kendall. I asked her if we make it to 32 weeks how big could they be and she said if they are still growing like they are now they could be around five pounds. I am trying to imagine how big they would be if we were to carry full term. Wow! The other wonderful news is that they have hair and we got to see their little lungs working. Keaton has been head down for quite sometime now, but Kendall is head down now. Our little or I guess we could say big boys are ready. Hopefully they can hold off for just another couple weeks.
I have still been getting shots to stop my contractions and it seems I am getting a shot at least once a day. Daddy and I are getting very very anxious and can't wait to meet our precious baby boys. We are hoping the bigger they are and if they are doing well, maybe they won't have to stay in the NICU for real long or if at all. Andrew and I kinda joking around said they may not need their premie clothes if they keep this weight gain up. :)
Andrew's sister (Dixie) and mom had a small shower for us here last Sunday. It was sooo good to see everyone that made it. We received some really nice things. I can't wait for our next shower once the boys arrive to show them off. I will keep everyone posted on the boys.....they will be here soon!
